I didn't either until I got rear ended by one that was going 45 MPH while I was stopped for a school bus in my first car, a little green Kia Soul.

Not a fan of the Gen 2. They actually look bloated like an over-inflated Gen 1.

Well more importantly they suffer from catastrophic transmission failure.

only autos, and easily remedied with an aftermarket trans cooler. Plus i’m pretty sure Nissan addressed this issue in post-09 or so models. Gen 2 > Gen 1 all day. (I’ve owned both)

“Gen 2 > Gen 1 all day”
My old Gen 1 > any Gen 2 any day.

Only a very slight CP. These hold their value insanely well.

Don’t get me wrong, I loved my 2000. But doing the timing belt blows ass, carpeted cargo area is awful for someone with 2 huskies & muddy hobbies, inherent hatred of doing brakes on a drum setup, learning the hard way how the rear sway will dent/bend your shocks if flexed juuuust right. I like my 2015 much better.

As clean as it looks, 4 grand seems like too much for 181,000 miles.

I agree. And I couldn’t go back to an Xterra. I actually need a pickup for my side business/addiction.
